I was talking to Mikey on the phone and he said he found an old picture of me sitting on a couch in c’dale. Just because I had long hair and looked like Jerry Garcia he called me a hippie. Let’s get the record straight just because I had long hair and saw the Dead to many times doesn’t make me a hippie, call me a burn-out or a freak but never a hippie. I never danced in a drum circle and have caused more anarchy and conflict then most. When someone did call me Jerry I said he fucked my mom in 62 (sorry mom, please don’t roll over in your grave). If any of you were at James’s big bash in Cobden in the mid 80s I started the fireworks war. My favorite composers are Pete Townsend and Frank Z appa. I never got to see The Who with Keith Moon. When I did get to see them around 1981 there was a huge void in the music where Moon used to be. Now that Entwisle’s dead why are they still touring under that name? I know he died due his hedonistic life style but isn’t that how a member of The Who is supposed to die. I haven’t heard their latest album but have heard good things about it. How can they sound like The Who live without Entwisle when they didn’t sound like The Who after Moon Died? Well should I be pissed at Mikey for calling me a hippie or at The Who for still touring or both? I choose nether, life’s to short to get pissed off over names and bands with dead members. Now politics is a different story.
