First you may ask yourself what is spargel and why the fuck is Zappa singing about it? Spargel is white asparagus and soon the Chinese are going to import it coated in lead in a rich poison sauce. Ahhhhhhhhhh poison sauce. I don’t mean to bash the Chinese. Like every country there’s good and bad people. This song could be a timeless metaphor for our consuming ways and how the corporate big wigs make a buck, a lot of bucks. Just change spargel for processed chicken, farm raised fish or cat food. It’s not the fault of Chinese it’s the FDA. Yes the agency that’s supposed to protect us has sold us out. Big surprise in these times, NO! Now that the truth is out, write your senator and congressperson and say, “what the fuck, fisherprise is poison to. My kids can’t eat, they can’t play, what the fuck. I agree with Nancy Grace FUCK, FUCK, FUCK I don’t want to agree with that bitch. We’re fucked!” Thank god I live in Illinois at least our senat ors are speaking up even though Obama heads has gotten to big and Durban can’t talk. Of course there’s no correlation with Chicago having the most expensive gas prices in the nation and not supporting Bush. Why I have to pay more for my poison, lead coated, spargel has nothing to do with that. Having to pay for voting responsibly? Well I’m glad to pay to be poisoned if that is the truth. So shall we take ourselves seriously? Does a cow make ham? Just remember you are who you is. Vote responsibly and write your senators and congress people and say “what the fuck” but don’t take yourself seriously, I’m not going to.
