Man or Astro-Man | MSIG presents astro-surf punk rock legends

Man or Astro-Man, from outer space? Or just a bunch of silly southern boys rocking out to the surf? I suspect the are originally from Alabama, but they are now located, if they still exist, in Atlanta, Georgia. MOAM have been on hiatus since the last time I saw them at the Fireside Bowl here in Chicago, in 2002. Their web site has not been updated for over two years, so I think they are in some sort of suspended animation or space cybernation... Those digital pics located at the bottom of this article are from that show. The thumbnails to the right are from two shows at the Cabaret Metro, also in Chicago from 1995 and 1996. I forget which are from which show but once I find the negatives I will sort them better, but for now here are the best scans from 8 years ago. I hope to expand this series, since I have shot several of their shows over the last 10 years.
