Yes, being from Chicago it is hard to be a Bears fan, unless you are the type of person that likes to go with the winning team of the year, no matter what town they are from. Go Patriots! Oh wait....
So 2007 starts out for Bears fans pretty good, undefeated in 2007 and heading to Miami for the big game. Wow, isn't life just great.! Yes.....
Then I turn on the news the next day, still high and exited
about the Bears clinching the NFC bid for the Super Bowl when
I read 25 US troops killed over the weekend. Seventy five Iraqi's
blown to bits by suicide bombers. Body parts everywhere. Death
and senseless destruction. It is hard to be exited about this
year or next knowing that the actions of this Bush administration
will take years long after my life force leaves this dimension
to fix what Little Boots did in the last six years. Shit Gious
Caligula only lasted five years before his own handlers snuffed
him out for being to extreme. But then again, Caligula didn't
have Hannity, Limbaugh and O'Reilly spin doctors on his side
to deflect criticism and blame to those that matter the least
or in reality have no bearing on events what so ever.
Just who is this 28% that still support the idiot son of an asshole. I still understand the 5%, those who are profiting off his policies but the other 23%???
How many more people that we were liberating have to die before you admit you are wrong? How many more soldiers have to die because you cannot admit the president and his administration are wrong? How many children have to grow up parent less because you cannot hold this administration to the same set of scrutiny and standards you demanded from Clinton?
Come on people, wake up!
