No, this is not a tribute to Rush, the band, or to the bloviating windbag on the radio. Not that Rush needs to be in the news anymore than he has been, for really nothing I might add…
Like it is really news that rush talks out his ass instead of his mouth.
But anyways.
Thank you to all the nice emails and comments I received on MSIG Army MySpace page and in emails sent to my inbox about the site, and wondering where the hell I am at.
Yes I am alive, for now…
And for those of you also asking me if there will be any updates?
Yes! There will be.
And to all the team that provides content, bands that provided interviews and Patrick’s endless collection of videos and images that has been backing up since 2007…
I will get to all this in due time. I hope.
So here is a brief explanation.
I was really relieved yet disillusioned after the midterm 2006 elections and had to take a time out. I provided some content but not on the scale I was used to and the amount this site deserves.
My life was moving real fast, in my careers and family. I am an independent contractor for web marking and development and my workload really doubled really quickly and I could not spend as much time on MSIG as I should. Which was a good thing, it allowed me to make money and get out of debt. Zero credit card balances is a nice relief in today’s volatile market and economy.
Then there was my health. I went from one thing to another over the course of two years, culminating in problem the doctors could never really diagnose or treat. It was very painful and life changing.
My diet and alcohol intake has greatly changed due to my illness. I am better now, and I am not in pain anymore so that is good. I am just taking it one step at a time and I hope to get this site revamped and updated really soon.
And yes, I plan on blogging more of my paranoid ranting's about dictatorships, fascists and other wingnuttery. There is so much to cover how drastically the nation’s political climate has changed in the last 2.5 years, some for the better, I might add, that I will have lots to write about.
Thanks to Buzz, Marvel Girl, Patrick and Neal for filling the void while I was out of commission.
